i've played IV, IV:A, and Nocturne. mitra's dungeon felt long as fuck for me, and i know i'm not actually very far in the game so they're only going to get longer and more tedious as it goes on.

Does looking up a FAQ for demon fusions after 50-60 hours of gameplay make me a pleb? What about savescumming with fusion to get a feel for what they can later turn into?

Yeah, of course, but you don't know what that can then turn into later. It was my first SMT and by the end, all of my demons were decent, but they all would pretty much fuse into eachother or at least onto the same tier.

I didn't end up trying to get the top demons because I couldn't be arsed grinding anymore. I think I had Ganesha in my party for the final fight.
