Did all levels have a boss fight, I remember the end of each world one, and that overs-sized gorgon head, but no other ones.

Warioworld was great though, a kid-friendly action game with extra platforming

Yeah, the game actually had more bosses than levels.

I suppose it's a step up from Stretch Panic, which had 12 bosses and no levels.

Speaking of Stretch Panic, I've realized that Red Brief J from this game is somewhat similar to Samantha from that game. Obviously not in appearance, more so in elements to the battles. Both are fought roughly two thirds to three quarters through their respective games, both are set up as evil counterparts of the protagonists, and fight very similarly to the respective protagonists of the games, only stronger, both have somewhat disturbing designs coupled with another disturbing element (Samantha's vomiting and Red Brief J's weird moaning/squealing), and both are often considered to be among the most memorable bosses of their respective games.

You can really feel the power in his attacks with the way the way they did the visual effects and the camera shake. Having the enemy stick out of the ground is just icing on the cake.

Honestly my favorite part of game, that and the world designs in general. It's definitely my favorite Wario game, but the atmosphere feels so off even compared to the Land games, I love it.

It's sad that we'll probably never get anything like it again... at least it's really replayable and there's Stretch Panic

For sure! I played it a while back. I really love the concept, and again the style is just really cool. It would be great to see a more fleshed out sequel to it.
