Now that Nintendo has started to revive dead series, how much longer do I have to wait until we get another one of these bad boys?
Nintendo needs a sequel for this with waluigi for co-op
>>383941894
My hopes for the next game is that it's longer and it still has a boss fight after every level, the bosses were the shit.
>>383942751
Did all levels have a boss fight, I remember the end of each world one, and that overs-sized gorgon head, but no other ones.
Warioworld was great though, a kid-friendly action game with extra platforming
>>383943341
Yeah, they were all so different and unique, it feels like some shit from a dream.

Yeah, the game actually had more bosses than levels.
I suppose it's a step up from Stretch Panic, which had 12 bosses and no levels.
>retro studios is a new wario land game
>it features both wario and captain syrup working together, stealing from the rich
>hand drawn animations like shake it
>gameplay like 2/3
>orchestral score
>>383944054
Speaking of Stretch Panic, I've realized that Red Brief J from this game is somewhat similar to Samantha from that game. Obviously not in appearance, more so in elements to the battles. Both are fought roughly two thirds to three quarters through their respective games, both are set up as evil counterparts of the protagonists, and fight very similarly to the respective protagonists of the games, only stronger, both have somewhat disturbing designs coupled with another disturbing element (Samantha's vomiting and Red Brief J's weird moaning/squealing), and both are often considered to be among the most memorable bosses of their respective games.

>This will never happen
>Intelligent Systems will never make another WarioWare game
>Wario will now only ever appear in Mario spin offs
>>383941367
The game was fun even if it was short
I need another grapple-centric game like this. It's just so fun grabbing niggas and spinning through crowds, throwing that guy and picking up another one for a piledriver.
>>383944285
Samantha was the cutest
>>383941367
Anyway I can play this without a GC or Wii?
>>383944059
>orchestral score
No, fuck you. WL4 has the best soundtrack and it'd be awful orchestrated.
>>383944946
Dolphin emulator runs it alright I think
>>383944946
I'm sure you can emulate it, but I wouldn't be able to tell you how well it runs. My GC copy just came in the mail yesterday

>WL4 has the best soundtrack

You can really feel the power in his attacks with the way the way they did the visual effects and the camera shake. Having the enemy stick out of the ground is just icing on the cake.
>>383944307
come on dude, let a poor fool dream
>>383944967
alright, maybe you're right. orchestral stuff works for stuff like breath of the wild or odyssey, wario needs something like jazz/rock
>>383944967
>WL4 has the best soundtrack
This nigga can't be more right:

Even the opening is godly.

Wario warriors.
Paper wario.
Wario Galaxy.
Wario Fox
Wario f zero.
Cmon be bold.
speaking of land 4, am i the only one who was scared shitless of this thing when i was bab?
>>383946703
I was more terrified of Spoiled Rotten once you got it to low health. Also Golden Diva
>>383944042
Honestly my favorite part of game, that and the world designs in general. It's definitely my favorite Wario game, but the atmosphere feels so off even compared to the Land games, I love it.
It's sad that we'll probably never get anything like it again... at least it's really replayable and there's Stretch Panic
>>383947536
Stretch Panic was a neat game, even if it felt unfinished.
Siren, Samantha, and Demonica were the best bosses.
>>383941367
Do Treasure even make games anymore?
>>383948194
For sure! I played it a while back. I really love the concept, and again the style is just really cool. It would be great to see a more fleshed out sequel to it.
Demonica was my favorite boss, mostly because that game over was so creepy
>>383941367
>Retro haven't announced a game yet
>They reveal it's time to make a great Wario Land game
Would make me happier than any other game I could imagine them making.
>>383948325
I honestly have no idea... I think the last thing they did was the Steam Ikaruga port. They've started being active on Twitter again, but they mostly retweet stuff related to their games.

probably one the best openings to any vidya ever
>>383941894
Waluigi will literally never be in any mainline Mario game, let alone a single Wario one
He was created for a spinoff game and will remain spinoff fodder for the rest of time
