I really want REmake 2 to capture the horror situation of the everday lives of citezens. When creating The rebecca cowgirl costume, Capcom oddly reused assetts from Jills lower half without shrinking them down to normal size.

You can see this for yourself clearly if you have Resident evil 0HD. Fighting El Gigante with Ashley was rough.

I just beat the HD remaster. I hadn't played the first game since the late 90s, but I feel as remasters go it wasn't bad.

Red pill me on how terrible is actually was. I l know the cheesy dialogue was changed to slightly less cheesy (cheeto) dialogue.

Did anyone else feel that RE7 wasn't that scary? The only parts of 7 that even got me slightly spooked were the prologue and the part where you have to get the arm from the altar. It feels like they focused entirely on making it scary for VR, so that it doesn't really feel that bad on a regular display.

1. It's not a just a remaster, it's a straight up remake. Made fifteen years ago. Not even like an N-Sane Trilogy way, it's a completely different game using the framework the original left, to subvert expectations of fans of the original.

2. The HD port is shit, especially since the backgrounds look like garbage as the assets are no longer at Capcom. Luckily, the models in REmake were already high quality as is. They were even reused as far a RE5.
