It's more focused on designing and building your theme park than actually managing it. If that's your jam then you'll love it because as a park builder it is amazing and it's still getting free updates.

Judging from a short video and a couple of webms I would say that it has nice customization and roller coasters can crash.

They can crash, but only with dummy riders. You can't open a coaster to the public until it passes all safety tests.

I think the game is solid but I wasn't able to really get into it. It takes way too long to accomplish anything good. Its a good game but I still think RCT 1-3 are better.

It's pretty good, but definitely more about making your own park and rides and being comfy than running stuff. Which isn't to say it's any worse than any of the other RCT games. Lots of options to play with. Pretty demanding though on lower/mid range systems.
