Playstation, because they're lazy fucks and couldn't even be bothered to include GBA MM&B, let alone a translated version of the much superior SNES release of that game, and CERTAINLY not something that would require actual effort like porting the Saturn version of 8.

And DEFINITELY not something that would require REAL effort like adding the Saturn content to the Playstation version and doing something neat like, say, having Tengu Man randomize which music it uses or change it at the part 2 transition.

But hey, maybe this time they won't fuck up the boss voice sample rate like they did with the Anniversary Collection.

I'm going to be buying it because I didn't buy MM9 and MM10 back on the Wii. I've never even played them.

7 is good too; 8 is cool but kinda lackluster and unreasonably difficult in some areas. Still beat it on the PSX though.

Pretty good. Credit where credit is due, DE have made some quality emulator tech for the original Legacy Collection, and I've got faith that they'll do a stellar job of the emulation this time around as well.

Just that, y'know, the content is barebones as fuck. I get not including spinoff games like Soccer or Wily Wars, or the GB games which could get their own collection. But at least they could have included MM&B to round out the 'main' games and get it closer to the six-pack of the first collection.

Honestly I'd pay $20 for steam ports of 9 and 10 alone, so

9 is easily the best in the series, and it sucks having to hook up my Wii to play it (with shitty upscaling input lag because lol Wii)

Yes. While the X collection is good and worth playing (except for X6 being terrible), the Megaman Anniversary Collection is a garbage hackjob of a game that is of no value except to the most die-hard of Megaman collectors.

It's a very bad port of the Japanese Rockman Complete Works series, which was a re-release of each of the first six games on Playstation with info databases, 'remixed' music (actually just ports of the updated tracks that were used in the Power Battle/Power Fighters arcade games), and a Babby Mode that redoes the UI to use 8's healthbar and adds a lot of MEGA MAN MEGA MAN WATCH OUT FOR THOSE SPIKES bullshit from Roll and other supporting characters depending on which game you're playing.

It's got a fair bit of input lag and the updates are REALLY half-assed.

I keep forgetting that the original MMAC had 7 and 8 on it as well. Just as well though, since they were even worse than the RMCW ports.

7 is emulated so incompetently that they couldn't even get the Mode 7 effects on the ending sequence working, so it's just... missing.

8, in addition to the aforementioned input lag problems and having no trace of the Saturn version content in it, also has the boss voice sample rate all fucked up. Several of the bosses speak very quickly and with too high of a pitch because Capcom fucked up the sample rate.
