This shit. Jesus Christ for a period of about 5-6 years I thought I didnt actually play this and it was all some big fever dream or something. Went well with the STALKER crowd. They have all moved to /vg/ now. I dabble in Stalker and I enjoyed boiling point. Not enough to complete it, but it was an interesting experience and I wish more games like it were made. Sadly Ubisoft has that market with the Farcry series which are ok but not the same at all. The most interesting thing about it is the story of it's development hell.

Ten years in development hell, originally supposed to be a Playstation title, then a Gamecube title before Microsoft bought the rights.

I think a lot of people played CA. It got over the top ridiculous later on though and the pay to win became so real after they added specialists. Those fucking things took somewhere around 100k kills to get a high enough level to unlock without paying. It was really sad when they tried to turn it into a CoD knockoff by adding shit like UAV's and air strikes obviously ripped straight from CoD.
