>everything gets dumbed down for idiots like OP
Fuck off.
>Try to git gud
>Die a lot as expected
>Am a really bad sore loser
>Like punching and throwing shit if I'm by myself
>The more I play, the more I die
>The angrier I get
>Can't play more than 3 games because I irritate the shit out of my roommate
>Eventually just give up competitive games entirely

I want to learn bass, what's your advice for how best to practice and develop good habits?

I honestly couldn't tell you much that you don't already know. I started maybe 3 or so months ago. My advice is trim your nails on both hands and practice that walking strum. Put on a metronome, and work on increasing the speed at which you can strum. At the moment, my strum speed is all that is holding me back. Keep in mind that bass strings are much harder on youe fingers than electric strings. Your fingers are going to hurt. Build up those calluses to be able to play comfortably
I'm already better at videogames than 99.9% of this board so I don't need to.

only with multiplayer games which require more than 3-5 days of try-harding to be atleast above average
just not worth the time tbqhfam
No, but I still need to finish a DS2+DLC SL1 run, I only did one before the DLC was out.

I've been playibg guitar for 8 years. Finding an IRL teacher is the best way to learn, although it depends heavily on the quality of the teacher. Online lessons is also an option, if there are any good ones (the only god online music lessons I'm aware of are Drumeo, which are from dums).
If you can't find a good teacher, look up some info online and
LEARN
YOUR
SCALES.
It's THE most inportant part of playing a melodic instrument, and it will help with literally everything you play. As for practice, get in at least 15 minutes every day.
