Those are core elements though and the game would be dogshit without random loot and risk/reward looting RNG. Not entirely sure, I have my gripes with the game but they aren't enough to make me hate it.

Some of the controls are not great, like the right click tap to aim down sights or hold to focus in third person is really bad to use in intense situations. Some of the movement feels clunky as well at times, it feels very restrictive, but that's probably just me coming from FPSs and bunny hop days.

The vehicle physics are also wonky but it's not too terrible.

Also the fact many ARs have a higher bullet velocity than many of the snipers is kind of a weird design choice and just allows AR sniping to a ridiculous degree.

It's nothing like PUBG. It's another game that's fun with friends and pretty shit alone though, the crafting is at the forefront so you're foraging and scavenging supplies most of the time but encounters with other players are deadly and the longer you last for the more you'll feel the gravity of survival. It also really doesn't hold back any punches, like when you log out your character will sleep on the ground and can be murdered by a player, so you HAVE to secure shelter for yourself if you want to guarantee you'll come back to the game alive, and even then any shelter you build can technically be broken into.
