I purchased Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for he 3DS recently at the recommendation of some people in this board. I just want to say that this is arguably one of the worst games I have ever played, whether for handheld device or otherwise.
For the people who keep proclaiming it to be "shadow of the colossus but more customization" (and these people do exist) I can't even fathom how you came to this conclusion; 15 minutes into the game and the 75% of the game has been cutscenes, with the remaining amount being a limited player creation system and what I wouldn't even call "gameplay". If you really think that running back and forth loading a cannon constitutes "good gameplay" then you should check out the Atari system because that seems to be your threshold of enjoyment.
I'm not gonna name any names but I know a few people who consider this one of their favorite games, and this is something that stupefies me beyond any reason.
