There's no way to talk to your teammates at all so everyone just runs around doing their own thing like chickens with their heads cut off.
There are a lot of passive skills you can take to weaken the enemy or power up your allies but since there's no way to communicate this and there's no visual indication in game there's no point picking supportive skills over more selfish ones.
