SNES game has aged well and can be spooky and has good atmosphere but is obtuse. Jap only but has a english translation.
2 (just called Clock Tower on the ps1) is also good but has aged more than the first game due to being an early Ps1 game
Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within kinda sucks but Bates is hilarious and makes the game worth playing (the first stalker is a small child and in one scene Bates kicks her in the face and laughs about it)
3 is bad. Don't play it
Haunting Ground isn't really Clock Tower but it was obviously intended to be one and is the best one. Holds up very well, one of the best horror games ever made
