The gameplay actually is fun, but can get repetitive if you're trying to 100% all the side missions. The main campaign is pretty well paced though.

Does the game pick up though? I'm having a hard time getting into it cause the story isn't grabbing me and I'm barely getting the hang of the controls, but I've had the game for about almost 2 years now and I'm tired of backlogging it, but it's slow so far

the first game on vita is probably my favourite vita game. the visual design, the music and the characters are so charming. truly a great achievement. so much fun to fly around collecting crystals to power up kat. i just picked up the remaster to play at 60fps.

thinking about grabbing the sequel, but don't know much about it. is it everything the first game was? did they fix the draw distance? how's the music? i'm not normally too fussed about music in games, but gravity daze had such a great atmosphere; really felt like i was in some pseudo french, just-industrialised country from a hundred years ago.

i think its worth it. youve got the gravity games, bb, nioh, persona (if thats your jam), yakuza 0, and some others.

that's enough to warrant a console purchaase. gravity rush seriously surprised me. i didnt think id like it as much as i did. its the most refreshing game ive played in the last five years or so. i havent even played the sequel either. its the perfect example of a superman game (flying around collecting shit) done right. flying around a floating city and changing the centre of gravity works so well. you can fly under the city, and walk on its underside (now the top side after changing gravity) and find secret little areas, collecting crystals to level up your character. its so fun. the gibberish language is charming, kat is cute as fuck, and the music is superb.
