TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT
Team Fortress 2 is dead
>>383911606
overshill is dead too
wew
July 29th, idiots.
UHM, WHAT DID VALVE MEAN BY THIS??
>>383912085
tf2 being prepped to be ported to source 2 confirmed!
So when do we give up these threads and realize the update probably isn't coming for a month?
>>383911845
>valve adds a mandatory captcha to trading, immediately killing all bots permanently
Is trading saved?
Which metal sink idea do you guys like better? I've seen both suggested.
>x amount of refined lets you craft a lockpick, basically a shitty key that only has a 33% chance to actually open a crate but its contents are unchanged
>x amount of refined lets you craft a counterfeit key, which will always open a crate but the contents will be "illegal" meaning they can't be crafted, traded, gifted, or sold
I miss those times....
I don't even care about the update anymore, I just want to play some Tf2 with other anons
>>383914156
First one. Imagine with the second one, you open up a crate, and you get a high tier unusual that you can't even trade. First one makes a lot more sense.
>>383914404
The point of the second option is basically to prevent bots from benefiting from the sink, because there are dozens of bots with shitloads of metal out there.

GONNA HAVE MYSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELF
A REAL GOOD TIME
Quick post update tears
>m-make the health regen for GRU 40-50 hp/sec or else the GRU is trash
>dumbasses complaining that Valve needs to balance for casual, as if thats a meaningful concept in anyway
>>383914156
>33%
As if Valve would let something diminish their hatbux by that much.
At best it'd be 10% or some shit, and if it were to be any sort of meaningful metal sink that didnt crash the prices of everything it'd be at least 10 metal.
Honestly, the best way to fix it isnt anything that requires voluntary action on the players part
My idea would be something like
>reclaimed and refined metal, after X amount of time (a rather modest amount time, too), 'rusts' back into the metal tier below it
>optionally as well, scrap metal just disappears entirely
>>383912014
You just pulled that date out your ass.
>>383914986
>nobody wants metal
>let's just make it delete itself
>>383911397
>friday night after a shitty day at middle school
>order pizza, play tf2 and css until 4:00am
where does time go
>>383911606
>let's make a moba fps
>with none of icefrog's balancing prowess
overwatch gets even more boring after every patch. and it wasn't even that fun at launch either.
>>383911397
Valve should ask b4nny for some more ideas to kill the game.
BRIGHT LIGHTS HYPE CROWD YAH WE CAME TO THROWDOWN EVERYBODY GET LOUD
>>383915267
NOW I KNOW WHY YOU WANNA HATE ME
>TF2
it's dead jim
>>383915126
Honestly that sounds like something Valve would do.
>>383911397
why do people still play dustbowl
>>383915126
>nobody wants metal because everyone has a fuckton of metal already
>asking Valve to make something that completely defeats the purpose of keys being tied solely to cash, and would crash the price of everything from crates due to how plentiful metal is
>but sure, put the metal sink on the players to commit to rather than an systematic process, because you can surely trust enough players to commit to a minigame that in no way ties into the base game and doesnt even guarantee a reward, while also contributing to the above
Cmon on son.
God dammit you fuck
Tonight is never the night.
The update is never coming, so stop it
I anybody feels like playing for a bit while waiting for the update, there's a bunch of people on the party van server right now
51.15.13.7:27015
>>383915176
Every multiplayer game is a moba if you think hard enough cunt
>>383913849
I guess you are retarded. Valve specifically allows trade bots of certain sites to bypass the restrictions. It keeps the money flowing into valve from this dead game.
>>383911397
>party van gets rid of password
>3/32 players
>>383911397
RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW I SWEAR
https://youtu.be/_vsZzBXJSVo?t=40s
>>383917435
They gained two extra players!
