Which metal sink idea do you guys like better? I've seen both suggested.
>x amount of refined lets you craft a lockpick, basically a shitty key that only has a 33% chance to actually open a crate but its contents are unchanged
>x amount of refined lets you craft a counterfeit key, which will always open a crate but the contents will be "illegal" meaning they can't be crafted, traded, gifted, or sold

The point of the second option is basically to prevent bots from benefiting from the sink, because there are dozens of bots with shitloads of metal out there.

As if Valve would let something diminish their hatbux by that much.
At best it'd be 10% or some shit, and if it were to be any sort of meaningful metal sink that didnt crash the prices of everything it'd be at least 10 metal.

Honestly, the best way to fix it isnt anything that requires voluntary action on the players part
My idea would be something like
>reclaimed and refined metal, after X amount of time (a rather modest amount time, too), 'rusts' back into the metal tier below it
