You do know what this means right? In order to equip gear you have to unlock it on the destiny board which requires a shit ton of grinding. All real life money does is allow you to repurchase your shit from other players easily if you die and don't have backups made. You cannot buy gear from NPCs

Someone that pays money to try to win will still have to farm a shit ton of mobs with the same gear as a normal player to be able to equip better gear.
Regardless, the game has bigger problems than this "pay2win" shit. The combat is boring as fuck and dungeons are overtuned and really fucking hard since you have to group with random retarded South American niggers.

It's the best though, technically allow for more attack patterns from mobs, more precision and variance in your skills, doesn't affect dungeon complexity or maps in general and is simply more readable.
