What MMOs have you played, /v/? Which one is (or was) your favorite?

Maplestory was my favorite because it almost sort of felt like an actual video game. It's actually godawful, but hey, those numbers going up though.

Only ever played FFXI back when it was new. Only jrpg I've played too. It was awesome. The exploration and teamwork. The fucking notorious monsters. I heard other mmos are casual so I never bothered with any others.

Played most popular mmos but runscape and lineage.
Got most of them at release and a character to max level but I drop most games there as there's always something that I can't stand.
The mmo with best quests is no doubt the secret world but the combat is still shit even after the change so I just can't handle it.
Looking for some PvE heavy mmo right now but most F2P have some restrictions on dungeon runs or I just can't find a fun playstyle/class in them

Too many, well almost all big ones starting with EQ and SWG

Don't have favorite, but the only ones I still play are XIV and first Guild Wars
I actually wouldn't mind any wow killers relaunch, like lotro classic servers or vanguard after few patches

Used to play Phantasy Star Universe, some korean shit, runescape, wildstar, lord of the rings online, currently in XIV but not really playing it as often as I used to.

I actually enjoyed Wildstar a lot but they treated the game and its fans like shit, and got shit back. It was so much wasted potential, now its just furryshit rp and houses.

"Traditional" ones? Guild Wars 1, Guild Wars 2, WoW, FFXIV, Ragnarok Online, Lineage II, TERA, The Secret World, Wakfu, EVE Online. I don't really count stuff like Vindictus, even if I loved it and played the shit out of it.

FFXIV is probably my favourite one, purely because it's so comfy and relaxing to play. It's not the deepest, complex or even the most challenging MMO, but something about it just feels like home, can't explain it.

It didn't get worse, but also didn't change a lot
I think the new PvE maps are an improvement over the base game and WvW is a great source of memes

Vanilla to mid WotLK WoW was the best and my favourite
Warhammer Online had a good world and aesthetic but bad balance and gameplay
Wildstar was very fun but had shit devs
GW2 was ass and I wish I played the first
BDO is a Korean grindfest
EVE is pretty amazing but just isn't the game for me. Fun but requires quite a commitment to really do stuff
and RuneScape is a classic even with its grind
