overall absolution isn't a bad game, it's just a bad hitman game. Hitman has always been about sandbox maps with x ammounts of targets which you can creatively kill in any way you possibly want. Absolution is more like splinter cell where you sneak from point A to point B and only like 3 maps in total are sandbox-ish.

Guard seeing you doesn't matter when scaling the walls. That's not restricted area yet.
When you descend down into the restricted zone on the rooftop, the waiter specifically might see you.
Wait for when giggles is away and waiter is sitting on the chair.

Dammit, I have the whole collection on Steam (excluding the latest one), and I was hoping to play a good Hitman game with modern graphics...

I played some Hitman demo back in the days and liked it. But I couldn't run Blood Money, so I waited for YEARS to buy a good PC and get the whole collection to enjoy all the games.

Feels bad that the old games didn't age well, and the most recent ones are either linear, or, come out in episodes and use some shady pre-order bonuses.

This wasn't the case at launch, but IO changed poison to accident kills because no one used poison anywhere since it ruined SA

Really hope IOI re-releases the elusive targets. I'd understand not offering the suit rewards to satisfy people who bought the game earlier, but the missions themselves have way too much effort in them to let it be wasted on a one-time-only occasion.

Only suit I don't have is the sapienza with gloves I've completed ETs in sapienza but not since they added the reward suits, and previous ones don't count.

Game is real fun. The ETs are IOs fault, but squeenix is to blame for the always online. A shame really.

thats due to IO is a small company forced to deliver a game on time. Making it episodic was like their only way out to release the game in time. And to be honest: Hitman works episodicly. gives you a lot of time to replay and explore the maps one by one instead of just rushing through the game because you can progress.
