I have over 250 hours in DaS1 without touching online. I always say it's my favourite, but I tried to play it again a few months ago and it's not as good as I remember. My favourite would probably be La Mulana or Arx Fatalis

You can decide to play the game with almost any weapon or build out the gate and do that while DS1's lack of teleportation means a lot more running back and forth to achieve the same and DS3 is a linear shit show that gates everything.

the builds man, i have played DS2 with so many good/silly builds, and they all worked, i can't do that in ds3 because having a weaker set up makes the game tedious as all hell.

Also powerstancing is fun, fuck DS3 for leaving that.

Just the armored turtles, and even then i wouldn't call it a chore to kill them without blunt, just probably takes 5 maybe 10 seconds longer.
