Is the game worth playing if Ii enjoyed XIII-2?

Yeah, if for no other reason than to finish off the story.
It's fairly different from 13-2 though.

13 series only improved towards the end

I couldnt get past the questing and time limit of this game, which plays a big role. You level up through questing but not killing monsters.
