It's not good because game never needed so many changes and they made it much worse.
Closed Beta Gwent just needed some fixes and maybe rework of two factions at most. Also bigger card pool.
Getting rid of faction passives was a good idea but probably the only one in whole OB.

Every patch needs to go through Microsoft and Sony now because crossplay.
CDPR do not know shit about making multi games.
It slows whole balancing and patch process. They are way too ambitious with this game and it will bite them back soon.

If anything, it's Noxious and LC who are for fun mechanics and try to enjoy the game.
Every change so far was the opposite of fun actually. Removing flavor from cards like Wild Boar, Aelirenn in CB, Reveal/Discard/Mulligan being basically the same archetype with different trigger ability. Every faction having the same fucking cards (Mages, 10 STR Spy etc.)
Soon every card will have the same strength and ability and factions won't differ from each other at all.

Well for example the generic faction spies are worth about 10 points, and they only give you one card. You generally play them either when you're greatly ahead or you plan on giving the round away. The card you draw could even put you in a worse spot if you don't know what you're doing.

This desu. My biggest complain is that in CB most cards had huge value on their own but in OB they push this synergy way too much. Especially that you can play only one card per turn.

I'm enjoying it.

the game will never die either, being on PS4 and crossplay with PC was a huge benefit to it's population.

that said it's significantly more difficult than i'd like to get just a handful of cards so I don't really do much beside logon to collect my first couple daily rewards.

The game chugs on high end PCs and essentially kills consoles down to 5 fps when there many animated cards on the screen be it in a match or the collection viewer so I don't foresee mobile versions coming any time soon.
