I agree with this. Honestly speaking, as a Pearl fan (although I don't mind Marina either, she a cute) it'd be pretty one-sided towards Marina. I'd rather all Splatfests being about themes.

Ice Cream or Cake is a hard guess for me since I like both, but for those hot days of Summer, I prefer ice cream. Cake is comfier for Winter days (even though it goes for all seasons). I also happen to be one of those lucky people who doesn't get its hands smothered with melted ice cream (it happens to my brother all the time) since I just lick every inch of it constantly. Unless you happen to have the darndest luck of getting brain freezes all the time (I don't think I ever had one), it's a no brainer. Cake is also kind of a heavy meal and do prefer small treats.

Rock vs Pop is way too obvious for me, I never get tired of Rock.

If you have a Japanese account you can download their Splatfest and take part in that one, download the American one too and you can play in all 3 Splatfests since they're all at different times. Japan's starts in 21 hours, 4 hours after it finishes Europe's starts, two hours after the European one is over, the American one starts.

I'm not sure but unlike other games on the eshop, it didn't say 'purchased' when looking at it on my other accounts before I had downloaded like it does for other games, so it seems that each region's demo is different so it's better to download each version just in case you can't just change the region.
