Also Ultracombo isn't that good. I mean he's not terrible but I've beaten him on GGPO several times years ago because his O.Sagat does the exact same thing at particular ranges that you can capitalise on if you pay attention. For starters I've never seen him cancel a standing Short into a low Tiger shot to push certain characters away that can't punish that.

32. I'm not in the US so I never got to play against some of the OG US dudes, my location limits me to being to play against West Coast US players if i'm lucky with the connection and mostly against Japan players as well.

I do remember Choi and Valle on GGPO during the earlier days and Afrolegends playing a set against a top level JP Gief on GGPO(Jodim) who we suspected may have been Pony or Gunze in disguise but he claims that was neither of them but he knew both those players and ranked himself below those two.

Also that one JP GGPO troll player with the name MEGABANK who would spam the "coin" button in games so your entire match was just filled with the insert coin credit sound.

Mainly Gief and Honda. I play shotos when I'm up against a Honda player. Seems like counterpicking I know but the Gief vs Honda matchup and the Honda mirror matchup is dumb as hell that you just need a backup character for that matchup. I would rather play Gief vs O.Sagat/Dhalsim anytime over Honda. At least a shoto vs Honda matchup is somewhat interesting for both sides.

I dunno about Singapore having a scene anymore, I used to play in Bugis arcade when I was in Singapore and i'd play against random dudes in ST mostly. Place has a better KOF and SF4 scene than anything. Sadly Bugis arcade no longer exists right now and has been shut down due to building redevelopment for the shopping centre.
