If you guys want this game back to its prime. Check out S4 League Bunker. It's actually on one of the few legit servers for this game and it has no AP or things you need to buy with your own money. You are already max level from the beginning and every customization is avaliable to you for free. No AP Stats at all either. Everyones on a even playing field.

Theres also custom customization. Some guy put 2B in the game.

There's no tradeoff for being +2 speed. Handgun tradeoff was that it's a mediocre weapon outside of running. You take the risk of eating a weapon slot for more scoring potential.

Maybe it's just me but I didn't find Spy Dagger to be that much of a threat. If you keep your self mobile, chances are they ain't gonna land that stab. And 80% of the time people who use that are shitters. Granted there is nothing more annoying than being in a heated 1v1 with someone and then only to die to some dipstick that slashed me from the back with the dagger. Then again there is nothing else more satisfying than counter swording them fucks because you can see them coming a mile away with that dagger.

I remember when I last played the game had gotten so bad that the only way I could play it was make new accounts, play for a week in the beginner channel then ditch the account once my AP gear ran out/I was no longer able to play in beginner. I was a big fan of the DJ Max Portable games and have always been curious since the teaser ad for S4 Portable with my copy of DJ MAX Portable 2 but it never went anywhere along with the supposed ps3 version. Name me a single good free 2 play game.
Yes I will just call everyone you name shit because they are.
F2P Games are inherently shit just by virtue of being Free and thus attracting Hordes of Russians / BRs / Koreans who can't speak english and have shit connections.
It also means that the game has to make money somehow other than a price for entry, mostly by either locking you out of content and letting you speed up the process of progression by spending money or completely ruining the artistic integrity of the game with retarded cosmetics that make it harder to actually know what's going on in the game.

Still horribly P2W though, and the private servers that popped up over the years all made the same mistake.

In the end I could only play Sword Only due to the pay2win
In Sword I could outplay full AP people playing in pajamas (played always without clothes except for the combi ones)
I had a clan full PEN and winning matches against AP was great
In the end the game became unplayable due to all the reasons you have said plus all the mexicans invading the spanish and portuguesse servers, in the beginning I had no problem finding spaniards with low ping to play but in the end there wasnt anybody and I had to play with germans
At some point they put flags I remember so you could say if a person was going to have ping but they removed them because it was racist or some shit, then some people started to create matches with the title spain only or some shit like that but they baned that too
We got cucked out of our server we needed a virtual wall

At least Cosmic Break is still alive.

In the final level you could put yourself on a rock, equip a machinegun, bring the chaser to almost no life, he couldnt reach you, go out of the room for 40 minutes until the level were near the end, then come and kill it in the final seconds
