Overwatch PC = dead

Most of the people who bought it for PC were SFMfags looking to datamine models for making porn. Other than that, it's much like with COD where the PC userbase has a shitload of other options and aren't playing the stuff that's most popular on consoles.

I went back and okayed the PC after a couple of months of the PS4 version cause I got a new mouse and noticed how much longer it was taking to find games. What gives?

Only country it's currently dead in is China. Coincidentally also the only country with it's own separate battle net.

Queue times are slow as fuck. Up to a minute queue times are regular.

The only time I see this happening is in competative play, legit the ONLY time. QP, Arcade I haven't run in to any same names and I have close to 500 hours in the game.

I don't doubt that consoles have more players but I also think this could be an issue with a lot of group play, it's common on PC, I bet way more common then on console. 3 stacks and up are not rare. And because of this the matchmaking attempts to put you with other solo players or other mirror matches with same stacks to compensate.

Nah, it's a Blizzard game, most of the players are on PC.
Overwatch hasn't even sold 10 million on PS4/XB1 combined.

Only time I play arcade is 3v3 after the weekly reset. Main problem is my QP mmr somehow got high enough to include grandmasters so I'm stuck waiting minutes for a match where the average rating is probably 3.8k+

I think PUBG took a lot of players. That game sort of just took over the PC community it feels like. Which sucks because I think PUBG is actually pretty boring.

Yeah, I mentioned that in the first post (OP here) that team-based games are more common on PC so maybe that was why. Not shitting on the game by any means, I love the game.

It's just that I tried to get some quickplay/arcade going on Overwatch and over the last few months I'll be kept waiting for maybe a minute or two but on PS4 it's happens faster so I just end up playing on PS4.

The only time my queue goes close to 3m is when I join as a group of 5 other people, which I do a lot. But it's not common to go that high.

i only have long waits if I played in the middle of the night (in the US) , if I play in the afternoon I sometimes get almost instant joins
