Neptunia VII had more scenes that involved baths and also showed much more skin than say Persona 5 for example.

The most fanservice I can remember from Persona 5 is Ann's fighting outfit, kamoshida's castle ann, the summer swimsuit scene, and swimsuit scene near the end. I wouldn't really count Kamoshida's Ann as fanservice though because its portraying the message that Kamoshida sees Ann as a whore more than anything else.

There's non-sexy fanservice scenes too like the valentines scenes and christmas scenes but thats a whole different case in itself to compare with Neptunia since they also had non-sexy fanservice.

I grinded for upwards of 15-20 hours in Rebirth 1 because battles were quick and easy and I felt like I was getting somewhere, also guild quests gave actual fucking rewards. Oh but don't worry I got my healthy dose of reused assets on the MANDATORY FETCH QUESTS

Now for a bit of nitpicking
The over-world characters in Rebirth 1 almost always gave you something for talking to them
In 2 the over-world characters almost NEVER give you anything and instead go out and make more referential humor about Maryo and Linguni haha
Going back to the comabt, when you got a new weapon in Rebirth 1 it was the second coming of Christ but you also had to weigh your options for what you want in your characters
In Rebirth 2 every weapon is a direct upgrade that you get every once in a while
4 party members can work ok but I would still take 3 (This still holds true for Rebirth 3 which I love) because battles take too damn long because enemy's have too much HP
But now we get to the BIGGEST problem
The endings
Rebirth 2 has 9 endings

To get them you need to grind not only shares, but Lily ranks which require around 100+ battles
FOR EACH CHARACTER
So there's only one ending worth mentioning
The only thing anyone remembers about Rebirth 2
The Conquest ending

I'm guessing it has to do with rebirth 1 (didn't play, only did original) which isn't the same as the original nep, while rebirth 2 use the same dialog as the original mk2, as such everything that happens in rebirth 1 kinda doesn't matter.

the Holy Sword variant of Conquest specifically mentions Nepgear thinks the Cursed Sword's magic was what caused all the neps to turn so out of character. When Nepgear used her fist to shatter the rusty sword the bloodlust haze they were all under went away.

best kill in Conquest ending was Underling, though. The way Nepgear simply dismissively comments how she should've run Underling through a long time ago was the best part of Nepgear's evolution to Murdergear.

Victory being the third and sixth mainline game (the first three games were remade)
There's also about thirty trillion spinoffs and all sorts of bullshit all over the place.

You should really play the mainline games sequentially - each subsequent game kinda assumes you already know who everyone is and what their characters are like.
So play the 3 Rebirth games (Vita/Steam) and then VII (PS4/Steam). Then pick whichever spinoffs you like the look of best - By that point you'll have an idea of what you like and can just pick everything up at random.
