WoW always seemed fucky like that. It was even stupid ten years ago how there's "+attack power" and "+spell damage" when agility, strength, and intellect already do that. I always hated their shitty system.

stats are in thousands because they shrink the stats every other expansion
haste affects your ability rate and AS, however speed affects your movement speed
mastery is explained in your spellbook

Literally the only point of the stat crunch was that numbers were scaling so fast they couldn't balance single expansions right. Now that the curve is flat and shallow, it's fine.

Well yes. One is the haste of your attacks and the other is the speed at which you move. You barely have speed on your gear anyway.

This is just wrong. From day 1 it's been in the game, you could always check what the Mastery stat did for your spec.
