First of all, why are they holding Bayonetta 2 hostage on the Wii U ? ? ? The console is dead, at least allow Platinum to port it over to Switch or better yet the PC

Bayonetta 2 was developed at a time when Sega was fucked up and were cancelling a bunch of games, so Platinum needed someone to publish the game and Nintendo offered to help and let them make their game the way they wanted, even if it meant being a Wii U title.
Bayo 2 exists because of Nintendo.
A Switch port definity is a good idea, but don't forget who saved the fucking series.
