He's exaggerating. Bows are satisfying to pop off heads in Nioh but there is no variety. It is literally just a secondary weapon for ranged pulls and shit.

Archery has always been fun in games, at least to me. It did do justice to the Mage/Sorcerer/Spell Caster class in my opinion.
