It is. It's easy to tell that a lot of gaming media outlets have deals with Nintendo.
One of the most blatant examples was DF lauding Nintendo's commitment to 60fps, commending them for having over 80% of its library running at 60fps, despite most of these being basic 2d indy games and their flagship franchise Zelda running like shit.
