The concept just seems so fucking boring to me.

Best non sniper rifle? I tried the M4 and M16 but I felt like the stopping power is shit. Even though it doesn't have a silencer available (outside of supply drops) ive been using the AK over any other rifle.

AR suppressors don't only drop in supply drops. They're rare, but I find one probably every fourth or fifth game.

The AK is the best AR up close, but it has a decent amount of drop because the bullet is so slow. M16 has the fastest bullet, so it's the best for long range. M4 and SCAR are somewhere in between.

Wow, you must be pretty bad. There are very few legitimately bad weapons in the game. Even shotguns can easily kill from a distance in two shots if you have a choke. You absolutely do not need a scope to win, and if you kill even two people, you are virtually guaranteed to find a scope on them.

And you should not be getting killed "out of nowhere" unless you hold still long enough in the wrong place and somebody headshots you with a powerful sniper rifle. If people are killing you with medium range weapons, you need to work on situational awareness. Watch for open doors, think about the path the plane took, listen for footsteps, think about where people would like to be, use the alt key ALL THE TIME.

PUBG has an objective. Be the last man standing.

Queuing for solo squad is hit and miss. Most of the time, I get grouped with Chinese people, which isn't a bad thing, but I can only communicate with basic nouns.

Towards the evening in USEast, the quality of the groups takes a sharp nose dive into complete and utter shit. It's as if it's a competition to see who can scream obscenities the loudest over the voice channel.

I might go back to queuing solo, but then the gameplay goes from enjoyable to 500%+ anxiety.

I'd like to queue up with people who take the game seriously, but with how limited the group functions are as of right now, I can only hope for an update.

All these battle royale games suck because they're all so similar. Nobody wants to try something new, so they all end up identical. A new one comes out that fixes some of the gripes people had about the last one, but introduces new ones of its own.

The large scale king of the hill/battle royale idea sounds neat at first, but has never been executed very well. It always ends up being extremely boring. I guess that's what people want, though. Since it seems to be extremely popular. Just one more confusing genre to me, I think it's shit.

The only time it gets choppy for me is immediately after loading the pre-game lobby, when everyone and the assets are spawning in. Other than that, solid 60+ fps the entire time. Though I do have an i7 4790k and a 980. I have the game installed on a SSD, as well. I imagine that helps things run smoother.
