I honestly think it's better than old Vindictus at a casual level, can't say much for end-game since I just hit 90 and haven't done any raids yet. Too bad this game is on it's deathbed in NA.

I quit at level 40 or so (shortly after getting Paladin I think). Don't really know the ins and outs of this game, all I remember is going on that one ship to do raids. Is that all there is to the game?

The quests I did were from the main story, sub-quests aside from event/pvp/crafting quests are all gone.

From level 1-88 I did not have to repeat one single quest; the game showers you with enough AP, levels, and gear to make the pacing through seasons 1 and 2 to be very smooth.

88-90 was very easy to achieve in like less than 2 hours if you like mine carting.

FFFFUUUU. That was my favorite laziness exploit. I'd play for month, quit for 3+ months, come back and have like 20k AP to spend on all my characters to catch 'em up. Oh well, at least I maxed out 2-3 of them for their levels before that change.

I don't know what to think about this change. Convenient? Fuck yeah. But it removes some of the skill of timing, and risk involved in using potions mid-combat. I guess they've finally decided the game is ded enough to start WoW-ifying it with easy shit left and right

Yeah they definitely streamlined the game, which is worth the cost of not having it be a total grindfest anymore. Bosses still fuck your day up after 50+ so it's not all that bad.

Why is Lynn so shit? Shes really fun with the nuke fist charges and the perfect evasions but it's not worth going through twice the effort when Scythe Evie does more damage from her light attacks than your whole kit.

How does this play? Is it just like WoW where u press numbers to do special attacks, or more like Devil May Cry where you input combos?

It's an action game, so closer to dmc but far slower paced. You can put some of your special attacks on a hotbar shortcut too, so I guess it's a bit of a fusion of the two.

So how dead is this game now? I quit right at the end of season 1 with the dragons/keaghan and it was already really hard to find groups at low level. I'd love to come back since it has the best mmo combat but holy fuck was it dying quick when I quit
