MGS4 is one of those games that is just awful in retrospect. the hype for it was huge and as long as it was a big enough spectacle, no one would be able to see the truth until it all died down.

The controls derive from 4, yet whether you use a PSP or a Dual Shock, they are much worse. The game mainly revolves around that soldier-collecting gimmick which V inherited and some spongy side-op bosses. It's kind of like V in a way, except the complete opposite in terms of the hardware they run on. They are both seventh generation games yet V gets to run on a PS4 while PW exhausts the shitty PSP. The stealth is abysmal, the action isn't much better.

It's MGS: Pokemon Edition.
