Why is the story in Bloodborne so fucking complicated for no reason? Why do we need like 12 different organizations, most of whom are doing the exact same thing?
The other Souls games are extremely straightforward in who is involved and why, with at most a few factions.
Good games with complex faction groups do so for a reason. Look at the complex faction relations in Stalker, or Morrowind. Morrowind has two "magic" factions you can join (Telvanni and Mage's Guild), but they are very opposed to each other in terms of goals and ideals. Same with the two "church" organizations (Temple and Imperial Cult).
Why does Bloodborne have two organizations who are the successors to the successors of an organization who are doing the same work as the original group, right down to methods, but that work is in turn based entirely on the work of a much older group?

Complicated =/= Complex

I'm not saying it's complex, I'm saying it's needlessly complex.
From a story writing perspective, why does a story need two (let alone 5) groups who are doing the exact same thing?

It's just one retard who didn't read as far as " for no reason"

>doing the exact same thing
how retarded are you
