It was a good hitman game but to have really stood out they should have made about 3x the levels. As it was I paid 20 bucks for the first season and came away feeling like I got 20 bucks of content. I'd probably be a salty bitch if I had paid 60. Getting told "No you have to savor each level" is a buzzkill. Nobody wants to play the same level 10 times

Old hitman had different ways of completing missions and actually made me want to replay them while having more then 6 levels or whatever. This just seeems like a chore. Also whats with the fucking unlocks what is that shit. Won't touch this peace of shit or its "season 2". Just make a fucking hitman Game

it was fun game but the "live experience" stuff was cheap and very lazy

I'm a big hitman fan, I didn't buy the game on release because I didn't want to support their shady episodic shit.
Bought the physical copy on day one of release.
Game is shit, worse hitman in the entire series.

Yes, as long as you don't die, you'll be fine. I can't remember if you can restart once you start completing objectives, but even then you can always just close the game in the task manager and try again.

SA should be nothing for oldfags I assume, but it felt good coming back to the game and getting this juicy SA.
But holy shit you really need to disable A LOT of UI to enjoy the game.
The opportunity handholding is so damn obnoxious, wow. Diana tells you literally everything you have to do. I can't imagine playing like that and enjoying the game at the same time.

Considering the story is not really worthwhile for the average joe, why is the handholding the default? (Rhetorical question, I know it's 2017)

Honestly if it hasn't dethroned Blood Money it has come very very close. Lack of weapon customization, newspapers and the general fiddly nature of the DRM are probably my biggest gripes with it.

I haven't noticed much TECHNOLOGY to be honest, but something I do hope comes back in force in the next season and applied to ALL targets is special dialogue for targets are either slowly dying or you have them at gunpoint with no chance of escape. Like the Jordan Cross or Francesca de Santis scripted encounters.

Also I believe all targets do spout some unique lines if you hold them at gun point with the guards dead, although it's not like the Cross interrogation.

Why did /v/ lie to me and say contracts was the hardest hitman?

They hold your hand through twice as many interesting approaches, even if you are completely uncreative. Did you do any escalation missions or anything? There are probably parts of levels you've never even seen after two playthroughs.

This is entirely subjective of course, and I don't know why I feel this way, but it just doesn't feel right to me. I can't get into it like I could with the older Hitman games. I felt more gripped and immersed with Absolution even. I really want to enjoy it, but I just can't.

I loved it, did have shortcomings (like being fucking easy on default)but it felt like a game for the fans.

Really good, I'd say it even overtakes Blood Money in terms of quality and depth, though 2 is still my favorite for more personal reasons. Hokkaido was my favorite level with close second place going to Paris.
