Bioware was killed off shortly before ME3 dropped on the market. The 'Bioware' that exists now are just two generic EA-owned development studios that are primarily new hires fresh out of school or some mobile app project. There are only a handful of employees left from Bioware and other cannibalized studios.

I played all the way through the taken king and fuck you with a rusty chainsaw it is NOT good. It is the same shit game as release, just with BARELY more boring shit to do. The last time I had fun in that game was the honeymoon run through VoG. Every other raid has been so shit. And the strikes have just been endless disappointment. Crucible was sort of engaging for the first few hours but fuck, they had to break it up with the dlc instead of keeping everyone together. Not to even mention the terrible balance. The problem is that their Quality control team has been axed, and that their higher level design and writing teams have no peer review to keep them in line. ME:A is the clearest showing of this in action, but the ME3 ending being rewritten at the last minute with no discussion is the best example.
