ITT: Games you love(d) that you're (almost) certain nobody else has heard of/played.
Starting off this list, Hunter: the Reckoning. I had it on the original Xbox, but it was also available on the GameCube.
>>383802330
Yeah, it doesn't help if you don't give the name of the game.
>>383802510
are you retarded?
if someone actually played this he will know the games name
why would I give a name?
>>383802907
Read the thread name. It's "Games You Think Nobody Else Played", not "Vague Screenshots to Induce a Stupid Guessing Game"
Post the fucking name.
>>383801969
Legit love this series.
IIRC the first is on Xbox and Gamecube, second is on PS2, and third is on Xbox
Complete clusterfuck to try and play them all, especially at the time they came out.
I'd totally rebuy the series, along with BG: DA 1 and 2, and the two Norrath games.
>>383803397
I wasn't aware there was a third. I only know about Hunter: The Reckoning and Hunter: Redeemer (which I sadly never got to play). What's the third?
>>383803397
Just looked it up. Apparently it's called Wayward and was only on the PS2. It's technically the second game in the series.
>>383801969
I remember this, it was great fun.
>>383803641
Interesting. I never had a PS2, only a PS1 and an Xbox.
>>383803641
>>383803479
Yeah it goes Reckoning, Wayward, and then Redeemer.
>>383801969
There was a hilarious glitch in the game, where if two characters stood on a stat-boosting rune and activated it simultaneously, the rune would become usable endlessly. The rune normally only had one use, but because two people were using it at once, it registered that it's usage was down to -1, and was thus not at zero yet, so it could still be used. This allowed you to endlessly boost your strength and accuracy stats. You could conceivably end up killing bosses in a single shot with your basic ranged weapon this way.
>>383803248
Dark Vengeance
>>383801969
This came out when I was in my final year of highschool. My friends and I played it one hell of a lot.
>>383804037
Thank you.
This one gets overlooked a lot, but was actually pretty fun.
>>383804070
this and Vendetta were fucking great
>>383804070
You serious m8?
Haven't played it since then but I enjoyed it a lot back then
This game was actually really enjoyable. It's very reminiscent of classic Sonic, even if the voice acting was cringy as fuck.
>>383804548
Holy shit I remember that game. I spent hours just cutting the bamboo in the second(?) Level
>>383805330
Not him, but this is Cosmic Smash for anyone that's wondering. Dunno why the anon didn't post the name.
>>383801969
I used to play this with my brothers, I remember it being really fucking hard.
>>383805657
I wasn't aware that's a rule
>>383805763
>here's this obscure game that I played
>you want to play it for yourself? Good luck finding out what it is!
This game was the shit.
>>383805564
Yep it was the 2nd level, I used to do the same exact thing
>>383804070
We have threads about this game every once in a while though
It just does very quickly because there are nothing to discuss about it
If it gets ported to PC and modding is easy, I can see it being very popular in /v/
>>383805384
>>383805813
Do you guys know what "nobody else has heard of/played." means?
>>383805868
it was actually an accident cuz i thought the pic was titled but anyone interested could right click and image search or just sdk
I know it's not true, but I swear I've never met a single other person aside from my brother that has played this gem.
>>383801969
I played to death.
I'm convinced I'm pretty much the only person to ever beat the game though.
>>383806481
I've played the sequel if that can make you feel better.
>>383806587
2 was also great. Thank you anon :')
>>383801969
I didn't get much further than the teddy bear boss before losing interest.
>>383806687
I very vaguely remember my brother playing this when I was younger I think?
>>383801969
>(almost) certain nobody else has heard of/played.
>>383806579
>I'm convinced I'm pretty much the only person to ever beat the game though.
On what grounds, anons? What makes you think that?
>>383801969
Underrated game if you are playing 2-4 coop. I had the demo as a kid and got the game later.
>>383806997
Okay no me and my whole group of friends played this shit it was tight
>>383806851
>On what grounds, anons? What makes you think that?
It's hard as fuck. Loaned the game to 6 different friends, none of them ever made it past the first vampire boss.
>>383806481
i love this game especially skydragon monster
>>383806878
It was great for co-op in the early days before high-quality online play, because you didn't have to play split screen.
>>383804070
No way. I played the shit out of this. Awesome story mode.
>>383807369
I have a tattoo of BattleRex that's my fuckin dude
>>383801969
Man, I wish I could get drunk and play this with someone right now ;-;
>>383806687
>Xcom
>In real time
So, an RTS then retards?
>closure never ever
it was one of the random cheap games my mom sometimes got me, i actually had a lot of fun dicking around with all the spells, artstyle was pretty ugly tho
>>383801969
I think a lot of people played this.
When MSN was giving away from Xbox's to their dial up subscribers this was the pack in game.
My go-to for threads like these
i never met anyone who played this game
>>383801969
Gave me my gauntlet fix after Midway went under and any other company that touched the ip ruined it. would love to get three people together and play it again.
>>383810176
Oh, and this one, one of the few JPRGs with a confirmed lolicon villain
you're all small time
>>383810579
>evolution
>obscure
lol
>>383803740
I loved Reckoning but hated Redeemer
Was Wayward any good?
>>383801969
this game was awesome
>>383810176
>Sophisticated tutorial
Never seen that on a game box. Different time, huh? And I certainly haven't heard of this ever. It looks like it might be kind of similar to Gladiator Begins on PSP from Acquire. It's a fun game if you like this sort of thing, and rather well-made.
>>383810248
Never heard of this either. Figures that it's JoWood.
>>383810581
Do you mean that only you played this on the XBox, or that you really think nobody has played this game? This series is famous as adventures go.
>>383804185
Agreed
it was 'Tony Hawk with Guns'!
>>383811985
Is it? I've never seen anyone so much as mention it
Why was it so hated bros?
>>383809356
No, more like Fallout Tactics. Real time, but they still have action points.
>>383804185
>You guys are good...
I'm trying to remember a game I played a long time ago. It was either on PS2 or Xbox, pretty sure Xbox. Sci-fi/futuristic setting, you play as a team of space-cops or something, switching between characters on the fly similar to like KotoR. All I remember for certain was one of the characters was a big tall robot guy, and then I think a token female as well as a white or vaguely ethnic male for the leader of the group.
>>383804185
The sneaky girl and the lizard were all you needed in the game.
>>383812452
Burning Rangers for Saturn?
>>383801969
>>383801969
I played this really young with my friends when we stayed at one eachothers houses
>>383812229
It's a pretty dumb system honestly.
>>383812156
hong kong max payne
>>383809869
I tried playing that game, but it is complete unadulterated shit, like the shit they try to sell on steam.
>>383812784
Played this quite a bit when I was a kid, the graphics and environments are great but I recall it being balls hard, especially the last boss
apparently this gamer was bad but I really loved it.
>>383801969
LOL was literally playing this 2 days ago with 3 of my frieds at my house on dolphin
>>383811875
Yeah Barbarian was pretty solid, imagine Shaolin Monks meets Smash Bros with a Conan paintjob. Plus it had some fun characterseach with their own narrated storyline. My main Mongo was essentially just a giant baboon who ran around eating peoples food and getting into fights with heroes in the process.
i feel like the only person who acknowledges this exists
>ITT: gen 6 babbys
