On Resistance Burning Skies for the Vita, my one and only platinum, all you have to do is complete the campaign and play 1 multiplayer match.

I could have easily killed that. I was just bored playing one of the easiest games in the history of gaming franchises. Seriously each area following the "chosen hunter" and his excessively buffed weapons from assorted game locations as he fights brainless enemies has been less engaging than the last. Aside from the handholding, the game's only consistency is providing you with absolutely retarded, unchallenging mobs and allowing you to run through all of them without any combative motivation thoughout the entire game. All to make the difficult feel easy, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when From Software voted to make the game a PS4 exclusive; they made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody. just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for the souls series. Bloodborne is easy to platinum since every achievement is just from doing something and largely has no collectable achievements besides get all weapons/spell related items etc. Nothing times or hidden.

Its still a great game and i like when achievements/trophies are straight forward for beating bosses but it is weird it had nothing out of the way.

Almost every story told attached itself to the main plot in a way or lead back to Johan or something he did or felt charming. It attached a real feeling of this man being on the run and his situation.

I enjoyed all the side characters and they felt well written. The show was 74 episodes long if i remember and that was fine. Every "filler" episode was made to make the viewer like Tenma more as a moral human being who even when out to correct his mistake never stopped trying to do the right thing. Or show that in his terrible world other people were still striving to do good.

I enjoyed the training episodes alot where he got the instructor and the girl to open up despite years of silence as he tries to make up for what he did to her parents.

Yeah that's about right, I'll give you that. In regards to actual time dedicated to playing and not just fucking about (given you were there, you may recall I did the amelia grinding for about 2 days to rustle the jimmies of the retards telling me I was too high levelled), it probably took me around the 40 hour mark in actually playing towards completing the game / platinum trophy, but my overall clock time was about 70 hours.

Also take note, many hours were also spent completely stood still in the hunters dream whilst engaging in hours long Bloodborne Experience threads.
