I'm proud owner of pic related. I love everything about this game especially music.
So, why PC version replaced music tracks for mid bosses, Ice Cap and Sky Sanctuary? How come they are fucking better than Genesis version tracks?

I like Genesis Ice Cap too, but PC is better.
Genesis's Sky Sanctuary played in PC version too, but just few times (before boss battle if I recall correctly). That means PC version have two tracks for Sky Sanctuary.
Don't even try to post PC's MIDI. The only acceptable comparison is Genesis vs Soundblaster.
You really have to be a nostalgia faggot to even think Genesis Carnival Night is even remotely good.

The music replaced was for Carnival Night, Ice Cap, Launch Base, Sonic 3 mid boss, Sonic 3 credits, and Knuckles' theme. This is, depending on who you ask, either because of rights issues and/or because those tracks weren't able to be composed properly for PC. All music for the PC release was recomposed for MIDI and FM synth, so the second explanation is not farfetched. There's only one Sky Sanctuary track.
