Hard to pick. Bloodborne has straight up aweful levels but some of the best bossfights in vidya, demons has some of the best levels in vidya but a lot of medeocre bossfights, darksouls is all over the place with mostly solid fights, mostly medeocre levels, and also the the worst levels in recent history

What are you talking about? Bloodborne forces you to get up in the enemy's face and make them back off and if that doesn't work you can parry. There's no hiding behind a shield in that game unlike the others, BUT, you can play ANY of the souls borne games like that, shields have always been an option and not mandatory. RPGs are what you make them hence, they're ROLE PLAYING games.

As blasphemous as this might sound. My first souls game was Dark Souls 1 so i'll stick with that. Hopefully there will be a Demon's Souls and Bloodborne port for the pc in the future as i'm not buying a PS3 and PS4 just to be able play those 2 games.

Demon's Souls

Dark Souls is great but the second half is too much a boring slog. Ornstein and Smough was definitely the highlight of the game.

Bloodborne is fantastic but the replay value is weak and the build variety is lacking.

They're all amazing but I'm gonna have to go with Bloodborne

Dark Souls 1.
Best variety in environments, which counts a lot for me already but if I only get to play one then it'd have to be the one with the most variety in visuals.

The map connectivity is also the best in the series, Bloodborne isn't far behind but it's definitely not on DaS1's level.

If you want good/light World Tendency, always stay as a hollow and commit suicide in the Nexus every time killing a boss reverses that. Though after completely exploiting everything in good WT, you can try exploiting everything that dark WT has to offer. But I only recommend that before the final boss fight and only if you want to fully exploit it on your first run.

I did, and in other souls games the rolls most of the time were not directly connecting with the enemy attacks if you got away without taknig damage. But in BB you constantly run through gigantic weapons hurled at you because you've pressed the safe button.

I think I would pick DeS in any case. It's a close thing with BB, but I restart DeS more often and I always enjoy it completely, even Valley of Defilement.
Dark Souls feels just extremely sluggish and not really fun at all.
