Ok, I actually didn't like how the last world is just a normal world. I liked how in SMB3, you arrive thinking the world is too short, only for it to be a long gauntlet of levels. When I first played World, I was hoping for that again, but it didn't happen.

The base game is way too easy, even the special world isn't that hard. Newgame+ is out of place and they completely missed an opportunity to slightly mod the levels into more difficult versions for experienced players.

The SNES supports palettes with 16 colours, Nintendo decided to split each palette into 2 sets of 8 colours to double the palette count, but the extra variety was never really used in any level, and all the sprites and tiles are left using at most half the colours that they could have done.

That and the sprites are just pretty basic in general.

So while the cape was implemented and intended as a crutch. Shitters abused it to hard and use it as an excuse to shit post. So would be nice if it was at least reworked to not make shit so damn easy.
