What some games which offer a grand sense of adventure?
Recently I finished Hollow Knight which was a fantastic adventure game, before that I played Dragon's Dogma which offered both adventure and purpose. I'm not too bothered with the latter, but having a goal or overarching quest which spans the majority of the game was nice, something to motivate the adventure. What are some other games which can offer me this kind of adventure? I was thinking of picking up NieR but I've heard the PC port has issues. How is Ori and the Blind Forest? Are all all these metroidvanias as good as Hollow Knight? Thinking back a few years I remember Dark Souls feeling like a grand journey, a good adventure. Are the sequels any good? I only ever played the first one. I bought Bloodborne on PS4 and I liked that, didn't like the setting as much though.

Xenoblade has an hd texture pack that also replaces the buttons with their xbox 360 equivalents

I've been playing Hyper Light Drifter and it was a lot of fun. Definitly good if you have the adventure itch.
