I hated that it picked up all the stupid action movie cliches and shifted the focus to the conflict between the factions. I came in this series late, in 2014 or so and played both redux versions.
2033 blew me away, amazing atmosphere and legitimate ammo shortage was intense. Last Light didn't quite rub on me as much, the story got a big too big in scale to be immersive imo. For this reason I'm a bit skeptical about Exodus, but it seems like a new arc than a direct continuation so I'm skeptically hype.

stealth was not just easy, it was completely broken, the bad guys really did seem to have an FOV of 5 or something, it made stealth play throughs really stupid. also the last boss was ridiculously easy, i managed to just permastun him with melee attacks until he died, this was on the highest difficulty. Should try that game again, don't remmeber much else but I remember not being entirely impressed by it.
