King's Field is nothing like Dark Souls. It's boring as shit and I wouldn't recommend it but I'm sure some "It's pretty obscure, you've probably never heard of it" retard will call me a faggot and declare the King's Field games to be the greatest games ever made.

4FA is good. I never played 5 or it's sequel.

AC is a very consistent series to be honest. I guess the best games would 3 and all almost all it's follow ups. The older games are still decent.

King's Field games are great if you like exploration. Combat is slow but also far better than Underworld. The games all run like poo though.

I personally really like them, King's Field 1 (us) is the best one.

I like King's Field 2 a lot. It's an incredibly slow paced game based around exploration with a great atmosphere to it. Combat and controls aren't great, but it's a really unique game. If you want something like Dark Souls you probably don't want to play it, but I definitely think it's worth a shot if you're into exploration.
