Infamous is a pretty terrible series. Second Son in particular was blander than the most uninspired Ubishit.

Infamous 2 improved a lot on Infamous 1. 2 even got a level editor.

And then they fucking changed the super-usefull shield of 1 and turned it into hot garbage in 2.

Still nothing extremely good. Just okay-ish. Nothing to write home about.

It was a pretty abortive project from the start. I just hope they scratched to replace it with something less terrible at core, and not something even worse.
I love techland, but they really need to realize that the whole looter element... it isn't working out. It's crap. It has been a cancerous mechanic for a good while, and it's not going to get better any time soon.
Hellraid, if it's going to be worth anything, needs to go back to it's original draft: spiritual successor to Heretic and Hexen. Not some weird 3D attempt at Diablo. And I think they did actually realize that, and that was the reason why the project was basically scratched.

Dom and CoE are difficult to get into though

Sly aged like a woman. It's not engaging as a platformer, an action game, a stealth game, or even an interactive cartoon. Every aspect of the trilogy is a half effort, except the decent voice work (minus Carmelita in 2).
