I felt kind of the same way about 0083 but not because it was romeo and Juliet its because Nina was a complete dipshit. Still really good OVA though.

Literally all they had to do was port maxi boost to PS4 and literally everybody would have been happy. I was honestly disappointed playing the demo for this. It's slower paced and lacks some of the moves and better suits of the extreme vs series. I'll still get it when it comes out in the US in September though.

i loved the taurus suits, as well as the leo suits. i just felt that they had really solid designs. Likewise, epyon was probably the coolest "non-mass-produced" suit. the whole idea of mobile dolls and a war of economies against a war of the human spirit was pretty deep for an anime given how modern warfare will grow in the next few years. i hated the gundam pilots, but i enjoyed the suits and i appreciated the overall tone/message of the show

on a side note, i felt that code geass could have been GOAT too if it didn't have bullshit psychic powers in it.. like if they had just kept shit regional in japan and have every suit actually count like they do in the first 5 or 6 episodes.. towards the end of season 1 they destroy like 200 suits in 1 shot, which is just boring to watch. but i loved the slice of life aspects.

Build Fighters is honestly the most perfect piece of fandom wankery I have ever seen. Great battles, likeable characters with fucking Ramba Ral existing as an old grandpa figure, and the music was top notch.

Try really fucked it up with the 3v3 battles as a centrepiece. It meant less screen time for characters which meant almost no recurring opponents even for joke episodes. The roster felt lifeless, and fights always devolved into 1v3 or 1v1 as the others got blown off within seconds.

I know that Japan is getting a 90 dollarydoo version with the officially licensed soundtracks. Will the foreign release also get this option?

Also, I have never played any of the Vs games before (just the Warriors series) and with the exception of the mediocre roster, this game looks amazing. So why so much hate? A week ago, an anon said that the single player offerings were paltry. I am almost exclusively a singleplayer oriented guy and the singleplayer modes/content available for Versus, is pretty much all one could ask for. There's even a quasi campaign. It sucks that my favorite suit and pilot are absent (Hambrabi/Yazan Gable) but the game seems to be a must buy for Gundam fans, especially since Bamco rarely throws us foreigners a fucking bone.

The US probably won't get that version because of licensing issues if Force was anything to go by. It's the reason the anime music was cut from the western releases of the Warriors games. But, also going by Force, it will probably still have instrumental tracks from the series, unlike the Warriors games.
People are unsatisfied with the roster, which is a pretty significant downgrade from the previous game, Maxi Boost and even Full Boost. But the gameplay is still as strong as ever. If you're into single player, you'll probably get more out of it than Full Boost which was almost entirely multiplayer focused.

I appreciate the fact that the plot isn't your typical good vs evil scenario and is politically driven. You don't really have a grasped on who are the "bad guys" until the show concludes, but even that is debatable. Suicide is toyed with a lot in the show - something I'd never really come across before at the time in a cartoon, but it's interesting how disposable the creators made their characters come off as. It had decent action sequences (especially towards the end), but they haven't aged well since you can spot a lot of "action sequences" being reused. The character development isn't great, but it at least gives a decent back story to why the main characters are the way they are. Same for Zechs as well.

The show is not perfect, but it's not shit either. Way to detract from my question though. I only answered because I'm not some chicken shit who's afraid of being confronted with a question.
