If they switch exclusively to sports that people already recognize as 'real sports'.

ESPN did a FIFA esports block during the SUPERBOWL knowing damn well that nobody would be watching with the SAFEST game imaginable.

You will NEVER be able to convince the general public to get fucking excited over a bunch of 20-something kids playing VIDEO GAMES in a huge arena setting, NOT this generation.
