>Mage and Sorc are way too similar
>Both use 'Charge and Release' combat
>People are willing to do this for 100+ hours
I get it. It looks great summoning a twister and an ice step right up an ogres butthole. But seriously.
Melee and Archery are buttery smooth. And they also get a way better variety in armor fashion.
Dragon's Dogma's combat is mostly just flash with little substance.
Any potential depth is completely ruined by how poorly balanced the game is.
>think I'll be able to carry over my flying jump kick from strider to assassin
>can't
>there is no in-game way to do this, not even a quest reward that allows you to permanently unlock a skill across all classes
Where's the fucking fun, Capcom? Why am I not allowed to bust the game wide open past a certain point?

This desu
It's vocation system is just also just a really shitty version of FF5 with all the fun taken out of it

Eh, my problem is mainly just with magic. It might not be the deepest game but melee in particular is quite fun.
The contrast between melee and magic bothers me though. Not sure how they thought it was a good idea. I normally love playing magic characters.
