Depends on how good your internal gpu on your motherboard is. This happened to me once and it got me to play a lot of games that i didn't bother playing before. Oblivion runs nicely, might even be able to run it at full resolution 60, and System Shock 2 would run at 1080 120fps for me when my graphics card stopped working.
