What games did you miss out on when they originally came out because of your own personal biases. I skipped out on pic related because I assumed it was going to be a shitty hallway shooter with no level exploration where you only got to carry two at a time because those were the most popular at the time. I had no idea this game was so awesome, I shouldnt have just assumed it was a shitty modern fps but it did come out when CoD4 was the hottest shit.
forgot most of this board was in diapers when this came out
Mostly Japanese games, I don't know how to explain it but when I was young they just didn't appeal to me, they either seemed corny, too difficult or tedious (in the case of FF).
In the past few years I've tried Dark Souls, Resident Evil 4 (just bought REmake) and Bayonetta and haven't looked back.
I have tried some FF games and although I have enjoyed some I just can't bring myself to finish them, some of my original suspicions of tedium seemed to have rung true.
Arena shooters.
Now I would be doing acrobatics in the air while killing people in a small but comfy community.
