Well first, fuck me for having first decide yesterday to try that. In COD MWR, there was a limited time Weapon Dropback crates, 300 cod point a pop. I was thinking when buying that, i would get a weapon. But hey no! Its just another random 3 cards drop, one of which will garantee you to have a weapon card! So i spend like the 10$ i was having to get 600 cod points, bought two crates. Yes i finally manage to get a nice melee ( yeah...), but still, its still abysmal that this exist.
Decide to read further sbout it, and realise it was becoming a thing since BOIII. At time, i didnt understand what my stepson was saying to me when he want to buy weapons( he was playing bo3 and iw, which i never played) I said ok, fine, but jesus, didnt knew it was not weapon you were actually buying, it was CHANCE to have maybe the weapon you like.
Its worst than gambling. Period. I dont understand why its permitted to let yourger one play casino like chance games. Found a reddit thread about someone saying the same thing. I dont understand how this is simply...legal? Most incredible thing if you calculate is if only 10% of the 3 millions player decide to try it just for fun to see with $10 spend, its a freakin 3 millions in their pocket, out of nowhere, out of something is just a real scam.
Yeah, again fuck me for having trying it, but using this shameful experience to warn people and hopefully save at least one soul.
Its complete garbo man

Agree here. But when you think its weapon like DLC hes buying and your not aware its actually a casino like game he is getting, how the fuck we are supposed to know that? I just discovered it.

Maybe look at the games your wife's son plays?
>playing cod
>buying dlc
>buying loot crates
>stepson
good troll
but if not.. yeah it's a giant scam that's been thrown into many games now because you'll always have a small percentage of the play base say fuck it ill spend 10 here or there and it racks up nicely for the companies
legally speaking I don't know the course of action that could be take on this but I could see someone putting a end to it if the argument was ripping kids off on a faux gambling mechanic
IW is way better, less dead and balances weapons better.
DONT BUY ANYTHING EVER
There's your guide to playing cod retard
Its literally no different than actual gambling. If gambling restrictions for kids are so strict that Pokemon cant even keep their slot machines that use no real money, I have no idea how this is tolerated so often. (Besides the obvious answer, lobbying)
>inb4 kids shouldnt be playing CoD anyways
This is more than just CoD. Its just about every mobile game now a days, and more kid-friendly console games like Overwatch.
