Pure kino.

game of the decade, without a doubt
Someone try to deny Ludwig being one of the best boss fights in the las decade.
>>383704973
Not even the best in his own DLC.
Maria and Orphan are both better.
>>383704783
Woah....
>>383704783
The game was a real disappointment for me personally.
As a more mature gamer, I can't enjoy games that don't have any kind of challenge in them. Bloodborne may have been great for people born in the late 90's or new millennium because it's inherently very easy so they get the instant concept of reward with no difficulty that they crave, but not for me.
I'm a grown man, I don't like having my hand held lol
I went in blind and platinumed it in 10 days, never having played a Souls game before.
Pic related.
Not enough ludo it seems
I need a sequel bros. I want to see giant creepy alien gods in a Caribbean setting where voodoo plays a role.

>As a more mature gamer
How's highschool, buddy?
>>383705190
>Maria
>better than Ludwig
Orphan is great though.

I think he's just saying he's old as shit.
>>383705520
She has the best weapon in the game and is fun to abuse with a nice arena.
Ludwig is a shitty generic beast boss that gets weaker in the 2nd phase
>>383704783
I still don't get what the point of the story was
at least in souls I could kind of figure out the symbolism
>>383705520
Her only downside is that you can stunlock her. But thematically, she's amazing. And that OST that rises with the fight itself is fucking orgasmic. That she resorts to using bloodmagic to kill you even though she hates it just further adds to it.
And I always did prefer to fight another hunter. Gherman was an incredible fight.

>>383705567
Why? Because you can't bear to read someone's opinion that doesn't agree with yours?
It bothers you so much that you have to hide my posts, because I don't like a game you like.
My special little snowflake, you're the epitome of a Bloodborne fan.
>>383705669
Maria is a shitty parry-bait fight. All her moves have 10 seconds of start up and recovery.
>>383705416
Don't fall for the bait. Just ignore the autist.
>>383705715
> story
There is no story. Lore =/= story.
It's like playing through Skyrim and having nobody talk to you about the actual events of the game you're playing but instead you have to reach every book in the library to get any kind of idea what's going on.
The game lacks any kind of actual storyline, it's just a random mix of events set on a backdrop of pretentious lore, repetitive combat and a painfully linear game.
I platinumed it in 10 days, all the same, won't be bothering with any others in the series.

How do they get away with this?

Be sure to ignore the first guy that replied to you, don't give him any attention.
I found BB's shtick to be easy to understand. Even if there's one aspect you didn't grasp I'm sure you understood another one. Anyway Youtube/google's your friend if you want answers

>>383706267
Yes because a sign of a fantastic story is having to Google what the fuck goes on in the game.

Silly anon, you don't get the bloodletter at the start of the game lol.
>>383706259
HORA! HORAA! HOOORAAAAAA!!!!!
>>383706259
same with fucking dark souls. You can beat the game with your basic weapon you get 3 minutes into the game. Do you have to use it? No. Do you have to use the saw cleaver all the way trough? Nope.
I'm replaying it since launch. Was the Cleric Beast always such a shit fight?
>>383705313
What a cuckish and insecure way to type, how's Tyrone treating your mom and sister?
>>383706572
All weapons in the game are basically interchangeable.
When you lock on it auto aims for you anyway, so barely matters.
The collision detection is laughably generous so it doesn't particularly matter about reach either.
Generally speaking though, given you can just run past 99% of enemies and summon 2x people for any boss, you could do the whole game just using a fucking dessert spoon as a weapon if you wanted to lol
>>383706823
Oh my sweet summer child...
Better kino.
>>383706259
Saw Cleaver is only good on a Str build though. Even then other weapons like Whirligig shit on it on terms of DPS. If you're Skill or Arcane the Saw Spear out-performs the cleaver at every level.
>Serrated damage bonus in both forms
>Thrust R2 for Ayys
>Longer reach than the Cleaver
>>383704783
Bloodborne is unironically the most high concept and thought provoking game since Deus Ex.
>>383706761
I don't know anyone called Tyrone.
>>383704783
why do you guys think /tv/ has the most iconic memes? what are your thoughts / opinions on the matter
>>383707210
>church pick
>completely thrust tricked moveset
>massive range
>untricked moveset as fast as cleaver
>righteous damage in both forms
>serrated damage in both forms
>default scaling makes it amazing SKL weapon
>can easily put STR or ARC gems on it
Truly, it's objectively the best weapon, nothing comes close to the church pick.

what would you guess is the most common "main" among bloodborne players? PvE and PvP if that's two different weapons.
I chose the axe originally and then eventually moved on to Ludwig's Holy Blade. Wondering if I had the most generic playthrough possible.

/tv/'s new memes are very juvenile. Baneposting is the only one i like.
Whenever i see the word Kino, Blacked, Cuck or Scoop i see a 21 year old faggot trying his hardest to fit in. You know that kid that would always repeat the same fucking inside jokes over and over, i see that kid. I see a kekistani.

Shit how? Too easy or too hard?

Is Bloodborne kino or ludo?
Here's why I believe it has both elements despite being more akin to more ludoscrophic works (ludo). First we must differentiate the two as well as drawing comparisons between them to a more recognisable standard (flick).
Flick - Something that doesn't require much thought. It's easily deciphered, consumed and processed.
Kino - Something that has many objectively thought provoking qualities as well as shrouds of abstract filler layered amongst it all. Think, the Mona Lisa.
Ludo - Something that has no objectively superior qualities yet it still resonates with the deepest confines of our soul. You can almost smell and taste the reciprocation of artistry seeping from the inner workings of the title. Think, Rembrandt – Self-Portrait with Two Circles
Bloodborne's kino details come moreso from the layering of each shots. The religious imagery as well as the thought provoking color work. The ludosphere comes from how it is all intertwined.
Everything from the Cleric beasts howls to the shrieks and moans of the locals "Away, Away!". It all invokes feelings so profound that many seem to make the amateurish mistake of thinking it's more kino when the reality is that it's more ludo.
The doll for instance, is a clear example of ludo. While clear, it's still not objective (as that goes against the very definition of ludo). It just is. The way the doll speaks, the voice, the tone, the chocolatey sound of it all. Even the wording of "The doll" makes the viewer sub consciously think of life altering questions, "Why are we here?".
Pure ludoscropy, it's happening before our eyes yet many of us don't really notice it
>>383705313
Nice filename poser.
I like Bloodborne but you faggots have ruined the fanbase
>>383708960
They're my trophies dickhead.

>>383707415
Church Pick is a great weapon but I can never use it over the Burial Blade. Burial Blade is just too damn sleek, that sound you get from backstep and rolling R1s just gets me going.
>>383709436
It's only natural considering it's the only worthwhile game on the PS4
it has the worst title screen I've seen in a long time though
>>383705357
Its my favorite game, and I'd love a sequel. But I know the would fuck it up. I think it should have had one more DLC, or at lewast a patch, that focused on improving and expanding chalice dungeons.
As much as I'd like to see more, the game is better as a one off.
>>383709693
This isnt remotely true. Games like Yakuza, Nioh and Persona can all have good discussion (Except for Persona waifufags), yet any mention of Bloodborne incites hordes of shitposting or people grossly overrating it
>>383704783
second best game on PS4. EDF 4.1 is in first place
>>383707804
Ludwig is the most common and shitter weapon. Whenever I do random coop and the host uses Ludwigs he dies within the first few moments in a bossfight. SRRC is only filled with LHB shitters not beating defiled hotdog or defiled Amygdala.
>>383706823
You don't have to use the crutches, that fromsoft gave to shitters.
>>383708786
>still using basic human words like "kino" and "ludo" to describe Bloodborne
Found the beastly idiot, get some eyes on the inside then you can come join the adult table.
>>383710394
You don't have to, but given that they're there completely destroys any concept of challenge.
Like playing a FF game but having an option to just wipe all enemies out with a click of a button - it makes the game inherently easy.
>>383706259
>implying satisfaction isn't the number one factor in how good a weapon is
